Stop the madness!

I  have had these thoughts in my head for several days but couldn't express them because of my complete disgust for our current administration and its utter lack of responsible action to counter this terrorist invasion. But the situation continually gets worse so here goes.

Banning immigrants is completely legal and constitutional. It is called "plenary power" and may be executed by Congress or as an executive order by the President. It has been used in the past on several occasions. In 1891 Congress used the power to bar people who practiced polygamy from entering the US. In 1907 it banned people who just believed in polygamy. As recently as 1979 Democrat President Jimmy Carter banned Iranians unless they opposed the Shiite Islamic regime in Iran. Carter also ordered 50,000 Iranian students to report to Immigration for possible deportation if they weren't in compliance with the terms of their student visas. A very large number of them were deported. Stop the claim of "unconstitutional" in reference to banning Muslims from coming into the US.

Also note that all three incidents involved religious undertones. Also note that polygamy is a main-stay of the Muslim/Islamic doctrine. In the era of the first two uses of the plenary powers no one was screaming "unconstitutional" because they were being used against Mormons. No one was lamenting you can't ban a group because of their religion but obviously the US has a history of that very thing. When a person comes to the US and claims religious persecution, the religious underpinnings of the region they are from is the basis for whether their asylum is granted or denied. Of course religion is now and always has been used for immigration purposes.

Democratic President Roosevelt used plenary powers in the early 1940's to intern Japanese because he felt they may show a loyalty to Japan that might present a danger to the US. A sound, intelligent move. He also sanctioned many Germans in the US but why not Italians? Just wondering. Anyway, most of those interned were actually American citizens but there was no sure way to confirm their loyalty except by their word and that was not sufficient for Roosevelt. But the overwhelming need to error on the side of protecting the US homeland and its citizens was enough justification to suspend some citizen's rights. You can debate whether that action was right or wrong, but it can't be denied that it took place. Why can't we now, in this time of terrorist danger, refuse to confer our rights to non-Americans? The liberals are the loudest complainers about Trumps' idea of suspending Muslim immigration. It is ironic that Democrat Presidents were in charge in the past each time the plenary powers were used. Democrats: the protectors of the downtrodden!

Okay, enough history. I will now get to the purpose of this blog. It is completely impossible for the US government to investigate the simplest areas of Muslim refugees backgrounds. Period. The Administration is letting in complete unknowns. It doesn't matter which of the Middle Eastern countries they come from (but especially Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Libya) it is extremely difficult and in most cases impossible to do a personal or political or criminal or terrorist background check on individuals. There are no legitimate intelligence organizations that can provide data on an individual's background. It is not possible to determine the history of an individual nor his/her current situation. Even if there were organizations that could investigate individuals there are no data bases to check them against. Our Administration claims they are doing extensive back ground checks on the refugees they are allowing in to our country. Who does our State Department contact that can give them the medical, personal, criminal, and terrorist background on the Syrian refugees? What databases are they accessing? They can't even confirm that the individuals are who they say they are! The current government is lying.  They can't and don't bother to vet or keep track of the people they let in. They don't know the real background of the people that they think they know.

The US has a history of banning specific individuals and groups from entering this country. What we don't have is a history of protecting our sovereign borders from the clear and present danger of invasion from foreigners that our federal bureaucrats have sworn an oath to protect us from. Here is the oath they take when being sworn into office: "I do solemnly swear that I  will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will  well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I an about to enter. So help me God". There is not presently a single bureaucrat in Washington that hasn't broken that oath. There may have been some that actually intended to follow that oath but it only takes to the end of the "freshman orientation" for new Congressmen/women to be indoctrinated into the beltway methods of deceiving "We the People". If a person wanted to make that oath sincere and believable it would only require removing the words "the Constitution of the United States" and replacing them with the words "my elected office".

Why has "Russian roulette"  become the policy of choice by the current Administration when it comes to this refugee situation or illegal immigration in general? Why has the destruction of sovereign borders and economic suicide become the accepted norm when it comes to the illegal invasion of the United States of America? Donald Trump is exactly right when he says we should temporarily suspend the entry of Muslims into the US until we can properly insure they present no danger to us. If they are coming from countries currently on a terror list or terror watch list they should not even be considered for entry. They should summarily be banned.

At the very least allow in only Christians who are legitimately being persecuted in the Middle Eastern countries. The Christian genocide is being completely ignored by the Obama Administration. Christians should be the first on the refugee lists to prevent their systematic murder by the Islamists. The fact is less than 5% of the Syrian refugees are Christian. And stop the B.S. about Islam being the "religion of peace" and that radicals have perverted the religion. They are merely following the teachings of the Koran. Three of the main tenants of the Islamic Koran relating to the treatment of Infidels: they must be converted, enslaved or killed. There are no other options to consider. There is no option to live and let live. There is no option to live together as neighbors and treat them as equals. It speaks volumes about the religion that the preferred option of choice is to kill!

I have one last thought about this Muslim based invasion. Why don't the Middle Eastern countries absorb their own Muslim brethren? Why ship them half way around the world to a country they despise?  Why expose them to a way of life and an environment that they consider abhorrent to their own life style, values and beliefs? How can we be that insensitive? Someone explain to me how all this doesn't play into the idea that this invasion is another portion of the plot to intentionally destroy the American way of life.

God Bless America!!!
