Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)

Obama and his transparency is again on full display with the new TPP bill. The agreement, if approved by the US Congress and 11 other countries, will be the final resting place of our American sovereignty. It will allow other countries to dictate what we sell, to whom, when, and how much. It also dictates what we buy. It opens the floodgates to nasty products with no questions asked. We will have virtually no say-so in what we have to allow into the US marketplace. If we refuse a country's products we will be forced  to compensate the "slighted" foreign entity for the revenue they determine they will lose because we don't buy their junk. Sounds fair, right?

Obama has been pushing the TPP for 6 years. He claims it as another of his legacy-building signature debacles. It is another way for him to pursue his never-ending plan to destroy the American economy. It has the potential of being even more detrimental to our economy than Obamacare. That is a bold statement based on leaked information about the bill no one is allowed to see. Congressmen/women can't see the text of the massive bill (29 chapters so far) unless they go to a dark basement room; take off all their clothes to prove they aren't concealing any type of photographic or recording device; have to take a blood oath not to disclose the bill's contents to anyone; and are being asked to vote on the bill without reading it or voting on amendments; eerily similar to the process used to push the Iranian nuclear agreement and equally transparent. It begs the question: if it is so darn good, why can't the people view the contents?.

On top of the Congressional voting process all 12 of the counties have to ratify the agreement. So far only 4 of the 12 countries involved have voted to ratify. That is entirely understandable since the final text of the agreement has not been written! "Cart before the horse" anyone? Another case of  "we will have to pass the bill to see what's in it" (Nancy Pelosi comment about Obamacare).

Another significant fact is that China is missing from this agreement. It is supposedly because the 12 countries refused to invite them in the agreement based on  their human rights abuses. Based on that  criterion, the US should be rejected because of our own human rights abuses of minorities. (Where are Eric Holder, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Michelle Obama when we need them?) Maybe it is because China knows it will encumber it's trade and investment protocol or because they know up front that it is just a very bad deal? Either way, China will not be a signatory of the agreement. They are not "down" with the likelihood that other countries will be able to stifle their booming economic growth with worldly regulations. I never agree with anything China does but I'm stuck with them on this issue.

This agreement is merely a Pacific/Asian version of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Let's recap what that has done for the US: massive trade deficits; lower wages; job losses; an influx of dangerous food products and commodities. All this is just another step toward the "New World Disorder" that the dictators of the world and many of our own Washington elite are embracing. It requires a massive income redistribution to take place and this is another way to achieve that.

Global agreements and treaties that tie the entire world together under the tutelage of the United Nations are not good business for the US. We didn't get this great by allowing failing foreign entities to dictate our policies. Our sovereignty is in jeopardy by allowing our economy and laws: guns, religion, and unfiltered trade to be under the guidance of foreign entities that hate us. This treaty will be another large step in Obama's pursuit of "fundamentally changing" America.

Here is the kicker: we have a giant role reversal going on here: many democrats are fighting Obama on this bill and the RINO leadership in both Houses of Congress are supporting him. I am having trouble comprehending what is happening short of being in a parallel universe where up is down and down is up. Our Republican leadership has officially gone over to the "dark side"! I'm begging for the time when the RINOs will challenge Obama to a duel rather than wanting to hold his hand.

God Bless America!!!
