Concerned Citizen Turning Alarmist

I have always tried to give our government the benefit of the doubt on most things. I felt that our elected representatives would, for the most part, do the right things to protect America and its citizens. That level of trust has virtually vanished over the last 6 years under Obama. His promise of transparency at first seemed to be another of his campaign lies. It has actually been born out to be true. He does not hide the fact that he intends to do everything in his power to "fundamentally transform" America as we know it, and not in good ways. His actions in all categories of domestic and foreign policies have left nothing off the table of imagined scenarios and their consequences. Today I will talk about a domestic situation that has me especially concerned.

In my book I talked about the various federal agencies buying up 1.6 billion rounds of 9 mm ammunition. They all claimed it was for practice for their agents: 200 years worth of practice. The Department of Justice is soliciting bids for (April 30th deadline) 95,000 rounds of 9 mm hollow-point bullets. Those are not practice rounds. The expansive nature of the rounds are designed for maximum damage to a human body with shock, blood lose, organ damage and death. Keep this in mind: these are domestic federal agencies buying this ammunition. Their only targets are domestic targets, meaning Americans! The relevance of the Second Amendment really looms large!

I will make this clear before I continue: law enforcement officers all across the US are the most maligned individuals on the planet. It is such a thankless job it is a miracle that we continue to get officers that will put their lives on the line knowing they will be accused of every form of misconduct known to the justice system. With that said, I am continually appalled at the level of militarization of our domestic police forces. I can't for the life of me understand why they need military style equipment to do their jobs. They are no longer out-gunned like they were 20 years ago. They have all the necessary tools and guns to do the needed police work. Military style training may be good to a point but not to execute a simple warrant. "No knock" warrants are an affront to several Constitutional Amendments. Unconstitutional gun seizures may seem like a none starter here in "the land of the free" but that happened after hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Those confiscated guns were never returned to their legal owners. How does "stuff" like that happen here in America?

Mr. Obama wants a "civilian national security force" that would be as well funded and equipped as our military. What purpose would that serve and how would they be held accountable? Are we promoting snitching and Gestapo tactics? What were his reasons for asking the states to set up wire detention compounds around the country? Who gets put into them? We know they wouldn't be for foreign invaders because he has already proven he has no intentions of locking any of them up! What is going on?

Broward County, Florida has already been exposed to US  military operations within their own boundaries. In March of this year US military special operations forces held exercises in that urban area. The US forces rounded up "civilian militants" and placed them in temporary security compounds while Blackhawk helicopters flew overhead. Regular military have no constitutional authority on American soil. The National Guard was established for domestic purposes. Why weren't they the ones conducting these exercises? Why are these exercises being conducted in the first place? Whose brainstorm is this project? There have been several similar operations held in other cities across the US in the recent past.

We are just starting to see the first of many military operations coming to America. Cheryl Chumley of World Net Daily has reported on just such an operation called Jade Helm 15. The Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force Special Forces will be conducting military drills in 7 states this summer. Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, California, Arizona, and Nevada will all experience this new phenomenon in July, August, and September. Nearly all of the operations will be conducted in urban settings. Operations spokesman Lt. Colonel Mark Lastoria stated that: "the training exercise is going to assist our Special Operations soldiers and leadership in refining the skills needed against an ever changing foreign threat". Is this practice against foreign threats on US soil or practice for the institution of marshal law?

I had a discussion with a like-minded individual who didn't want to believe that American military or American law enforcement would do harm to other Americans. That will hold true for many public enforcers but will not for most others. They will do what they are ordered to do. Law enforcement officials are now doing things against American civilians that you wouldn't think possible. I am old enough to remember the Kent State shooting of student protesters by the National Guard in 1970. American enforcement against American civilian has happened in the past, is happening now, and will only get worse in the future.

Can I make the assumption that the Obama administration has allowed so many foreign terrorists into the US that our military will now have to fight them in our cities?  The idea was to kill them in their own countries to prevent them from coming here. So much for that strategy. As a side note, the FBI and the DEA will also be involved in these operations. I must make another assumption: the foreign threat will be drug induced? Now all the ammo buying by DEA, EPA, FBI, CIA, DOJ, DHS, BLM, PDQ, ASAP, and last but not least, LMAO, is thoroughly justified. We should all feel safer now. The "nanny state" is keeping a close eye on us, through a military style sniper scope!
