Hillary vs O'malley

Everyone claims there is no alternative to Hillary and she  is a "shoe-in" for the 2016 liberal presidential nomination. We heard that back in 2008. Along comes a "clean, articulate" black man (Joe Bidens's words - not mine) and undercuts her in an instant. But this is Hillary's time for sure. Not so fast kool-aid drinkers. There is someone out there that possesses all the proper qualifications to be a liberal president and his name is Martin O'Malley. You may have heard it here first.

He was born in Washington D.C. in 1963 and has lived in the beltway area his whole life. Liberalism is his entire world and is his ideological basis for his life and politics. He doesn't know anything about the real world outside that closed-minded universe. He went to college and obtained his law degree in 1988. He began in the early 80's working for the liberal Gary Hart presidential campaign. In '87 and '88 he worked on liberal Barbara Mukulski's senate campaign. In 1992 he worked for liberal Bob Kerry's campaign.

He went to work as a Baltimore States Attorney in 1988. He ran for Maryland state senator in 1990 and lost. He served on the Baltimore City Council from 1991-99. In 1999 he ran for Mayor of Baltimore and won. In 2004 he spoke at the liberal national convention in John Kerry's behalf. In 2006-14 he was Governor of Maryland. He has no background outside politics. He has essentially the same type of background as Senator Harry Reid and look what an outstanding individual Harry turned out to be!

His history makes him better qualified than Hillary: she lived in the White House for 8 years; was New York senator for a few years while she ran for president; was Secretary of State for 4 years under Obama (I cover her accomplishments in my book "Freedom Permits").

Here are more of O'Malley's accomplishments: he used questionable statistics to claim the crime rate dropped during his tenure as Mayor of Baltimore; he accepted illegal campaign contributions as governor (typical liberal results: the contributor was convicted but O'Malley wasn't); accused Republicans of some embarrassing marital rumors but it turned out the rumors were initiated by an official in the Democrat party; compared a George Bush budget to the 9/11 terrorist attacks; overspent the Maryland state budget and tried to cover it by raising taxes and installing speed cameras for additional revenue; referred to illegal immigrants as "new Americans"; gave illegal immigrants in-state college tuition; supports same-sex marriage; repealed the death penalty in Maryland.

Even though many of his signature accomplishments were unsuccessful and are being dismantled by the new Republican governor, O'Malley still gets credit for trying. Being rewarded for failure is a distinctively liberal trait.

The claim has been made that he is turning down a  possible run for the Maryland senator job in a "wait and see" position. If there is enough damage done to Hillary there may be some support on his behalf for the presidential nomination. The Benghazi cover-up, revelations about foreign donors to her foundation while she was Secretary of State, her private e-mail account may all contribute to the opening he needs. He has already criticized her for the use of the private e-mail account she used during her tenure as Secretary of State. Let the fun begin!
