The RINOs have begun their death march

I started my book Freedom Permits about this time in 2014 and even then I was warning Republican voters about the lackadaisical efforts of our elected Washington DC officials to promote a Conservative agenda. They just don’t have the interest and/or the man parts to buck the onslaught of socialism that they face every day in Congress. But they never lack in lip service to us. They promise all these wonderful things if they were just in power. We gave them the House in 2010 but that wasn’t enough for them to be effective with our agenda. So we gave them the Senate in 2012 and that still wasn’t enough because they couldn’t thwart a minority president’s agenda without being called racists. Boo freaking hoo! Rush Limbaugh claims they have “linguine spines”. That is an insult to linguine because if you cook it Al dente like it should be it is still stiffer than any Republican backbones in Washington DC.

We have now given them the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. They have produced no Conservative legislation to this point. They passed more Obama legislation in his behalf than they are doing for their own party President. President Trump promised an immediate start on the border security wall. Congress can’t find the time to appropriate the money to start construction. President Trump promised to repeal and replace Obamacare as soon as he got in office. Congress can’t find the time to even start a discussion about the repeal and replace. The ironic part, and equally frustrating part, is the fact that when Obama was in office the House made about a dozen bills that would eliminate Obamacare but it never went anywhere in the Senate knowing full well Obama would veto it. Now that they can pass it through both houses of Congress with no chance of a veto they can’t bring themselves to do it. That tells me that they had no intention of repealing Obamacare and the votes they took were simply an attempt to pacify their base voters. President Trump promised an immediate start on a revamp of our taxing system which would include tax cuts for middle-class workers. Again, Congress had to abandon any efforts to confront any of these pressing issues because they had to go on spring break. I believe the country’s security and financial stability would be best served if they stayed on spring break indefinitely and allowed Donald Trump to legislate with executive orders. Why not give it a try? They stepped back and relinquished their legislative duties by allowing Barack Obama to totally disregard the Constitution of the United States.

With the slow walking, foot dragging of the Republican Congress Donald Trump has every reason to say to the Republicans in Congress the shortened version of Gen. George S Patton’s quote: “lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way”. Having started the second month of his presidency it has become painfully obvious that the establishment Republicans, along with their donors, lobbyists and the entire liberal contingency including their media suck ups, are going to make every attempt possible to prevent Donald Trump’s conservative agenda from succeeding. They can’t allow it to succeed because it would be proof positive to everyone that the way they have been running our nation for the last 60 or so years has been completely ineffective and a failure on a massive scale. They cannot allow an outsider to shine a light on the pathetic leadership they have used that has brought the United States of America to its proverbial knees.

Washington establishment elitists have no idea how Donald Trump became president of the United States. They have no comprehension or understanding of the plight of the average American taxpayer. They live in their little Washington/Arlington bubble and inside that bubble everything is perfect. They have extremely nice salaries with all the benefits; they live in pristine neighborhoods that have never seen a family of foreign refugees move in next door; the only foreign immigrants they see in their neighborhoods are cleaning their houses or their pools or mowing their lawns; they have never faced the dilemma of having to allow the construction of a 15,000 square-foot mosque next to their 15,000 square-foot house; once they have achieved the Washington DC status they will never again face the horrible reality of not having a job; their future security will be provided at taxpayer expense; their future healthcare will be provided at taxpayer expense; those are the reasons that they can’t comprehend why most of America’s “flyover country” was in a near panic thinking that Hillary Clinton would carry on Barack Obama’s socialist destruction of America. I’m not saying that all of our legislators in Washington DC are anti-American or even un-American. What I’m saying is they have lost complete contact with the everyday realities facing normal Americans living under their legislative smothering because the legislation does not affect them.

If the establishment Republicans in DC don’t get their heads out of the places that the sun don’t shine we could very well witness the largest turnover in incumbent Republicans in 2018 and 2020 that America has ever witnessed. 63 million Trump voters are closely watching the level of obstruction that the establishment Republicans are pursuing against the Trump agenda that they voted for. In 2020 those same voters will hold responsible, and will be voting against, the individuals that stopped their agenda rather than their leader that pursued it. The next two years are going to be very interesting. I have no interest in Republicans pursuing so-called bipartisanship with the liberals. Bipartisanship according to the liberals is when you agree with them. What I want to see is the conservative base of the Republican Party and the establishment members of the Republican Party come together and delete or make corrections on as many of the screwed up legislative laws that have been passed for the last 60 or so years; with special attention given to the last 8 years. It will be a painful process for the RINOs but their political futures may very well depend on it.
