Death by Political Correctness

First of all let me express my deepest sympathy for the victims, the families, the city of Orlando, the State of Florida, and the United States of America on the loss of the American citizens murdered this morning. The United States should be in mourning and every citizen should be praying for the victims. We should also be praying that our federal leaders will finally man-up, step-up, and immediately put in place a course of action necessary to prevent this type of killing in the future.

Omar Mir Seddique Mateen a 29-year-old American-born Muslim killed 50 and wounded an additional 50+ in a shooting at a gay bar in Orlando, Florida very early this morning. He is the son of Afghani immigrant parents. He has been working for nine years as an armed security guard. He has no apparent criminal history but has been on a law enforcement watch list for five years. He was no longer a subject of concern. He carried an automatic handgun but used an assault-style rifle for the shooting.

Banning assault-style guns is not the answer to stopping this type of killing. That gun did not kill anyone until Omar started pulling the trigger. Omar is the perpetrator; the gun is not. Requiring a background check for the purchase of a weapon, which the liberals so enthusiastically pursue, would not have stopped this killing. What may have gone a long way to stopping this killing would have been to intensify the law enforcement scrutiny on Omar instead of dropping the investigation. Please don't let political correctness be the reason the investigation was dropped. Since that was a rhetorical statement, I can safely say that of course political correctness was the reason it was dropped. This is yet another example of political correctness resulting in the killing Americans.

Following along those same lines of a dangerous politically correct agenda Obama has allowed the entrance of about 400,000 unvetted Muslims into the US over the course of the last few years (approximately 2 million total). In addition to that number Obama is bringing in approximately 10,000 new Muslims each month. This type of invasion is merely the tip of the iceberg. "We ain't seen nothin' yet!" It doesn't matter if ISIS as an organization claims responsibility for this murdering or we accept the fact that this was a radicalized Muslim American committing terrorism. We have got to get a grip on the fact that radical Islam and it's followers hate our religious base and our infidel way of life and they will take every opportunity to kill us on our own soil.

Even though Islam/Muslims have been killing Americans well before Americans even knew who Muslims were, I still lay a lot of the blame for what is happening now at Obama's feet. His world apology tours and his pathetically weak response to the Islam/Muslim terror has embolden them to this point and they know the US will do nothing but provide cover for their murderous actions.

I have all due respect for every person that puts on a law enforcement uniform and goes out in public knowing full well, in this day and age, that he/she may not be going home after their shift. But I have to wonder why it took three hours to send the SWAT team into an active shooting scene. Aside from some attack planning and coordination what was the hold up to entering? He was already killing people so it seems prudent that they go in and stop additional killing. I have no law enforcement training of any kind and I would welcome a comment to this blog from someone in law enforcement that can enlighten me about the purpose for the hesitation.

The the liberals have already begun to provide cover for Islam by calling this domestic terrorism. Domestic terrorism brings up the image in people's minds that the liberals have painted about domestic terrorists being hard-core militia types, God-fearing, beer swilling, radical right-wing gun nuts. It will also serve to enhance their argument that guns in general and assault-style guns in particular should not be allowed in the hands of even law-abiding citizens.

United States is in deep trouble if an American-born Muslim, who has been living here and enjoying the benefits of our American system, can hate this country so much to commit this type of evil. I am waiting to hear if he was radicalized at a Muslim institution in the US or on Islamic sites on the Internet. Whichever scenario emerges we must take steps to end this. We need to get our heads out of the dark, warm places where they have been inserted. We have to discontinue political correctness and start to investigate the radical Muslim mosques and madrasas in the United States or we are doomed. If you believe that liberals are patient and will do their evil bidding a drip at a time just consider that the level of terrorism attained at this point has been on-going world-wide for thousands of years. That is a level of dedication that even liberals would envy!
