Don's crystal ball is accurate..kinda sorta

Predictions in my  February 1st blog were mostly accurate. One thing about it is the fact that I predicted five candidates would drop out by February 21. There were actually four dropouts immediately after the Iowa caucuses. Rand Paul dropped out earlier than I expected but Gilmore, Huckabee, and Santorum were all on my schedule. Carson and Fiorina have stayed but I expected that. I still believe that those two will be gone soon. My predictions hold up accurately so long as everyone is gone after the February 20th primary in South Carolina.

At this stage in the game I may also want to add that as Rubio declines in the standings he may hang on to the end for the same reason I believe Bush will: to try a convention "surprise" and become the nominee regardless of the original primary results. Since Rubio has been hanging in there at Cruz's level he may actually replace Bush in the eyes of the Republican establishment. Bush, Rubio, Christie and Kasich will remain hopeful contenders for vice president. The problem is all four of them have savaged Trump and Cruz so viciously that they may have destroyed any chances of being a running mate. Because of the level of vitriol aimed at Trump and Cruz by all of the other GOP candidates the two top contenders may very well pick running mates that have never cast a shadow in Washington DC. In my humble opinion choosing a Washington outsider would be a very good thing. Someone with a viewpoint and perspective of life outside the Beltway would be nothing short of miraculous.

What I have just said makes it sound like I have anointed either Trump or Cruz as the eventual nominee in the Republican race for president. I am basing my statements purely on the numbers that exist in the race at this point in time. Anything and everything can and probably will change before this race is run. The final results all hinge on how desperate the Republican establishment/donors will become and to what lengths they will go in an effort to ensure the nomination of one of their "yes" men. The list of candidates that the Republican establishment will endorse does not include Trump and Cruz. Many will not support either man as the Republican nominee in the general election. As a matter of fact many have insinuated or even stated matter-of-factly that they will vote for Hillary because they do not want their RINO party associated with or beholding to the conservative base of the GOP. If that happens and the liberal/socialists get eight more years in the White House not only will the Republican party be permanently out of power the United States of America and the American Dream will be forever damaged beyond repair.

I haven't mentioned the Democrat race to this point because to me it does not matter which socialist wins. Sanders, Clinton, and O'Malley would all be disastrous to the future of America. In my March 13, 2015 blog I predicted O'Malley would be in the race but I missed including Sanders. O'Malley actually had to drop out of the race because he wasn't socialist enough to be a contender. Sanders and Clinton are doing their best to out "Santa Claus" each other. The Washington Examiner has tallied Sanders list of future giveaways to cost the American taxpayers an additional $19.6 trillion in the next 10 years. The Wall Street Journal says $18 trillion. That doubles the national debt from what it is today. It took the first 43 presidents 240 years to accumulate $11 trillion in debt. Obama will double that debt in just eight years. Sanders will double it again in only 10 years. Needless to say, based on her campaign promises to the "takers", if Hillary is in charge she will easily match what Sanders would do. The voters that will support them are the people that don't pay the taxes necessary to sustain the level of free stuff those same voters have come to expect. They feel entitled to other people's money. The wealthiest in our nation pay the bulk of the tax dollars, but they have enough left to maintain their lifestyle. The ones that are hurt the most are the middle class taxpayers that work and pay the balance of the taxes that ensure the lifestyle of the lazy. Socialism is not conducive to maintaining a middle-class population in any country where it has been tried. Liberalism/socialism/communism have only two classes of people: working poor and wealthy government elites. Eight more years of socialism and the United States will be in that situation.

Sorry, I got a little off-topic. Continuing on with the socialist side of the campaign for president I would like to mention that as a result of the Iowa caucuses Sanders got a little taste of what his fellow socialists have been doing to Republicans in elections for many years: vote fraud. Vote tallies in some precincts were so close that the winner had to be determined by coin toss. Needless to say Hillary won all six of the coin tosses. The odds of that happening are 64 to 1! Does that mean that in six instances the vote tallies were exactly the same number? If the vote tallies differ by even one, there is a clear winner. In a very small precinct with only one delegate, Sanders won the vote but the delegate was awarded to Hillary. There were entire precinct tallies lost which would lead me to believe that Sanders won those precincts. The Microsoft voting apps used turned out to be defective. I'm sure it is only a coincidence that one of the developers of the app at Microsoft is a Clinton supporter. If I thought otherwise I would be labeled as a member of Hillary's "vast right-wing conspiracy". If the liberals are willing to resort to voter fraud against one of their own, one can accurately predict that it will be even more widespread when it comes to the general election in opposition to a Republican. That is simply "business as usual" in the liberal voting playbook. The advancement of their socialist agenda cannot be hampered by something as trivial as committing voter fraud. "The ends justify the means."

The battle is lost if you don't resort to the same nasty tactics that your enemy uses.

The battle is lost if you do resort to the same nasty tactics that your enemy uses.

Both of those statements hold true when dealing with liberals, socialists, communists and terrorists!

What a difficult situation our morality and conscience has put us in!

God Bless America!!!
