I say "Thank you for your service" to all active-duty military forces and veterans both past and present. Every freedom we enjoy is because they have stood boldly in the face of our world enemies for almost 250 years. Their sacrifices know no bounds. The extent they will go to protect us has been unlimited. There is no way to begin to show enough gratitude for their actions. I can only hope that our next Commander-in-Chief will treat them better.
"If you can read this thank a teacher. If you can read this in English thank a soldier." I apologize for not knowing the author of this statement.
