Beach-front property

The National Academy of Science publishes papers and articles by various scientists that cover all topics. One of their recent articles was about global warming alarmism. Of course they are  talking about man-made global warming because to them there is no other form. The sun has no affect on earth's climate. The sun cannot melt polar ice as quickly or effectively as man and his machinations. According to NAS sea levels will rise about 30 feet or so between now and 2200 A. D. We have a maximum of 185 years before the residents of coasts will die horribly and suddenly as a result of the  catastrophic rise of water around the world. They claim the water will rise almost immediately and many people will perish before having a chance to evacuate (tsunami style). That alone seems implausible because ice does not melt that fast except in a rum and coke. Even if that scenario were to be true the rise would be gradual and provide ample notice to leave. And I hate myself for even entertaining the possibility at all. Sadly that is the belief of the global warming hoax Kool-aid drinkers.

There may be another point in time that sea levels will be higher than they are now. A mere 12,000 years ago sea levels rose significantly when the ice from the last Ice Age melted.There is indisputable evidence of glaciers that encroached well into what is now the United States. There is proof that volcanic eruptions spewed enough ash into the atmosphere to block the sun and cool the earth to the point that some species did not survive. There is proof that landslides and underwater earthquakes caused tsunamis that devastated coastal areas around the world. All those catastrophes were happening well before man ever left a footprint on coastal sand.

I am a "non-believer". I am a "flat-earther". According to many of the believer's "reasoned" followers I should be put in prison at the very least but preferable put to death. I believe in facts and not conjecture. I believe in the data obtained from satellite photos and from thermometers. I believe it when the thermometers say there has been no measurable warming for the last 18 years. I believe the sun controls a very large portion of our climate. I believe the moon controls a portion of our climate in respect to tides and water movement. I believe the rotation and wobble of the earth on it's axis controls a portion of our climate. Keep in mind that if any of the above controls varies much, then you should start talking doomsday. It won't take 185 years to happen either. Man, in his typical arrogance, believes he is the sole holder of the key to our climate control. Man, in his typical ignorance, believes he can over-ride the sun and the moon and Mother Nature and mold the climate to his liking. I am not a big fan of that way of thinking. I do not believe in the intentionally flawed computer models created by humans who are financially vested in specific results. There are two types of believers in man-made global warming: Those that are very well compensated to advance the bogus idea and those sheep that falsely believe they are doing something to make themselves feel better about their own lives. Saving the planet from humans is a definite priority. Rid the planet of the human scourge starting with yourself!

Now to the portion of this rant that is the reason for the title. There doesn't seem to be any stigma attached to making money off this hoax so I am going to take my shot at a little financial boost. I live in Florida about 25 miles inland from the Gulf. The elevation here is about 25 feet above sea level. If the NAS prediction of 30 feet is under by just 5 feet I now own future beach front property. If they are accurate, I will need to build a house on stilts to stay above the new water level. Either way the fishing will be great. I am willing to sell the house now to a believer at a reasonable price and you can consider it an investment for your descendants 185 years from now. Wouldn't that be a wonderful Christmas present (only if you believe in Christmas). Of course our descendants 185 years from now will probably be half machine and will speak some Muslim language. We know the Muslim half will like sand but the salt air will raise holy heck with the half-machine circuitry. I'm not so sure about water though. I can't think of many Muslim navies except for the Somali pirates. Anyway, consider my offer. If you believe man-made global warming is going to destroy our planet then this is a very attractive offering to you. As in the sale of beach-front property and man-made global warming "there is a sucker born every minute".
